  At Exciting Idlewild Baptist Church your child is important to us, and we welcome the opportunity to serve them in Christ’s name. The Children's Ministry Team is dedicated to impacting future generations around the corner as well as around the world with the message of God's love. Your child will be consistently challenged to live for Christ through Bible study, discipleship, mission’s education, and praise and worship. We have placed committed Christians as leaders in each classroom to help fulfill these goals.  Our mission is to impact the children of our community and beyond with the message of Christ's love. Whether your child is attending Lighthouse Kids Town Extreme Mission Kids, Team Kids Discipleship or a special event, we strive to glorify Christ, help children come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior, and encourage parents to grow into strong Christian leaders who believe in the Word of God and the promises and truths therein. We encourage children to discover their uniqueness and eventually God's mission for their lives.

It is a partnership between the church and the home, utilizing the efforts of both parents and the church body to communicate the message of the love of Jesus Christ.
